Yeah. I remember that was one, strange going on con. (With vending machines charging $1.25 for an 18 Oz Diet Coke in the bottle close to every block of rooms.) I believe it was on Saturday night there was a powerful electrical storm, and I had to walk out into it in order to retrieve something from the room I was staying in. As I was walking back to the main gathering area, there was a bright flash and a tremendous thunderclap overhead. I made my way to the doorway, and saw a rather large "Fan" running as fast as he could for the shelter of the main gathering area. Other than that, I discovered the shopping mall across the street on Sunday morning, which kinda bummed me out as it would have saved me a little money to buy my meals there.

I had an awesome time at that one. Did get a lot of exercise going from building to building like that.
A lot of fun and being my first time out to Cali. I didn't find the shopping center but my friend and I
hit the San Diego Zoo one of the days and we hit the beach on another one. Worth every minute.
We did find a really good breakfast place a few miles west of the hotel.

I remember attending the Robert and Margret Carspecken panel. Really nice folk. Got to ask them a lot
of questions about the animation business.

And today you'll find a 16 oz. Diet Coke and a 20 oz Diet Coke but NEVER an 18oz. LOL!

Oh yes. My memory isn't what it used to be. It was more than likely 16 Oz diet Cokes. Thanks.
