I think it's funny that whenever Japan is like "WE MAKE THE ROCK MUSIC NOW" it sounds like some terrible derivative retro throwback thing, but when they're like "Uhh, we're just gonna kinda dick around and make inscrutable electronic stuff." it's amaaaaaazing.

Like, everybody over there needs to put down their hairspray and goth makeup and start making the next Vib Ribbon soundtrack, or the first Katamari Damacy soundtrack again, or more stuff by awesome whackjobs like Hirasawa Susumu and Omondaka.
