Ok, calmness.
Today, humans release a game that is just...amazing to behold. NOW, it will be held in my claws muhahahaha! Though...with respect, I'm holding off since I got a certain lizard's party to plan...but that's ok! I CAN wait one more day or two...as long as I get it, and I will, I preordered ha ha!
But anyway, it's Bioshock Infinite (yes Leon, you hit it on the head). I've played the first two Bioshocks and just love the series. NOW, they're out of the ocean and into the sky! Saw the trailers, saw the previews, and NOW...can jump in and actually BE there.
I booted up the holodeck to get myself psyched. Easy to tell who I am and whoo...that Elizabeth. I dunno in terms of love, but she's kinda got that sorta "I want to protect you" vibe that you feel you want to defend her...........I wonder if she'll go all Eleanor, like in Bioshock 2, and just kick EVERYBODY'S BUTT by the end of it ha!
But anyways, I am psyched for this! Gamers of all, lets hope, that this'll make a mark in history! Raise your Skyhooks, grab your Vigors, and reach for the sky ha ha!!

Defenetly, I mean Bioshock 1 was allready large, Columbia will probobly be enormous playground to explore. What I like the mest is how many paths one can actualy take to get to the end, that should be realy interesting.
I honestly can't say, I'm guessing underground would be more likely. We'll just save to wait and see what the guys will think of next

Yeah! And with THIS...they have the Sky Rail (if I recall the name)...and considering that seems to be a main stay of travel...available practically all the time, you can go anywhere!

The skyrail is probobly the main thing that interests me, namely how easy or dificult it will be to get around the place using it. Plus it seems like Elizabeth can't use the skyrail (atleast I never saw her use it) so I do wonder what happens to her if you go on a slight detour, does she wait for you or try and follow on the ground? Aaaah, so many questions to be answered...
And underground could be preety whack, big dadies were one thing, but those were for -maintenance-, could you imagine what the team could think up as demolition and drilliang monsters if they did an underground game?

I think Booker gets his from some...police-looking official from a screenshot I saw...so maybe it's just used by such personnel.
Oh yeah...they said something about them NOT aiming for the whole "escort" thing with Elizabeth...what I hope that means is that game-wise she's immune to damage...but she's "hurt" by supporting you with her powers....

OOOH! Actually the Gears reminded me...whatever incarnation of these big daddies (Handymen being Infinite's) they could have some sort of blowtorch/welding weapon...fire damage!

I think she doesn't get hurt in the sense, she just has her powers on a cooldown for a bit in normal gameplay. I doubt you can kill her by using her powers. Altho I think Elizabeth is influenced by your choices such as attacking her bird thing for the older gameplay session. She sayd the bird was one of her only friends and she probobly gets angry if you nearly kill it or something. I dunno, this is all speculation at this point.
Oh great, big health, scary AND could set you on fire, giving you a horrible death as the fire engulfs you... that would fit I imagine, I had something like My bloody Valntine in my head when I think about the enemys.

Well I've seen her have nosebleeds and become exhausted after using her powers...so I think it takes a toll on her. Don't think she'd die...she just might think Booker is just "using her too much" and won't like him...so yeah think it's more emotional than fatal.

Think I'm going to play through clean...without the aid of the pre-order stuff. Considering how BIG this game is (and the whole side/choice thing), I think they'll be more than one playthrough hehehe.
