Another picture of my favorite rifle in my collection. She might be my oldest gun, but she is still the best rifle I've ever fired. Heavily modified inside and out with the best components I could get my hands on. Absolute gem of a gun.

fine piece of crastsmanship. if only it were just as easy to get them now like it was at the beginning of last year. I honly had one chance to fire one and its was great! but now its the question how long until I am able to expereince it again? :(

Most rifle companies are backed up on orders for as much as a year. Hopefully this will change when everyone realizes that they don't need to be afraid of Feinstein taking our guns away.

At the moment, I suppose not; however, the NDAA 2011, 2012, and 2013 are a bit unsettling with the indefinite detention without warrant, trial, or legal assistance.

How is the 416? It looks like a great gun, though 3 grand is a bit of a high price for a rifle that is basically a built up, piston driven AR. I personally am leaning towards either a Scar 16 or 17.

ive already bout some stuff to deck mine out with im tossing out the standard handguard and putting a quad rail style handguard to it adding a few freebie pistol grips i found here in kuwait like this and i have 2 of them http://www.brownells.com/userdocs/p.....36000022_1.jpg

Still non-existent. It's come to the point where gun stores stock their shelves with supplies for reloading. Lol, even Walmart is using their ammo racks to hold paint now.

It is. The rifle started out as a S&W M&P 15 Sport, though I replaced the upper and just about everything else on it.

Wow, ARMS parts, Kickin it oldschool. Looks good though. I remember a time when that stuff was the best around (Mid 90's)

I actually picked it up late last year while browsing Calguns. Consider myself lucky to find it, considering ARMS ceased production of the SIR 45M

His is an M4 contour, it's not too bad. Though i am used to medium weight barrels and above so maybe I'm not a good judge.

I did the same to mine, except that I pin welded a flash hider to it to make it of legal length. AR-15s look weird with 16 inch barrels in my opinion.

I am a 16 inch man myself, i prefer the versatility of that barrel length (i am weird i guess) though I have recently been trying to find a DD 14.5 Middy for a new ultra light upper, but having troubles finding one.
