For those of you who keep asking about the equal sign (I'm surprised a lot of people still don't know...)

This is to show support for marriage equality. Right now, homosexual marriage equality is still a big issue. While much of the world has learned to accept the idea of homosexuality socially, there still remains a political and structural inequality for it when it comes to the system. Along with places still banning homosexual marriage, clinging to ignorant traditions tied to a belief system, which shouldn't really be tied into the government (IE separation of church and state) - the discord lies primarily in that these marriages are still treated differently via system, instead of being recognized that marriage, as far as between two people, is about love, compassion, and commitment.

The equal sign you have seen floating around is a banner for the cause, a deeper symbol not just for homosexuality, but a true balance for the people, to allowed to be who they are without discrimination via misunderstanding, or the sheer ignorance of others who deny themselves to elevate such an understanding.

I am a pansexual, and I support this cause.
