here is my theroy/storey..
i think. .. secretly.. vinny is a secret assassin and hes staring deep into the photo because he has a photogenic memory. and that the night scene is him taking on last look at his target thats he's been assigned to kill before setting on his long journey across the sandy countryside to complete his contract. but yet somewhere in his thoughts he's getting lost, wishing he didnt have to do what he does anymore and not wanting anymore blood on his hands. looking at the value of life and realizing that he's playing god almost. maybe wishing he could go back home and forget the life he is somewhat being forced to live as a assassin...

as for the art its stunning and i love the night time gloomy feeling it has. great piece of art.
