Firefly - one of my fave ponies. Last weekend I decided to have a small nostalgia trip and rewatch "Rescue at Midnight Castle" - it's still as awesome as I remember it from my childhood. Yeah, true, the special has a lot of flaws, but still it's so much fun to watch.

As for the drawing itself... Oh my glob, what a pain in the ass that one was... *_*

I spent more time then I should on this drawing: first I wasn't satisfied with the way Firefly's head was shaped, so I had to fix it a couple times, till I got it to look somewhat decent. Then I wasn't all too happy with her hairstyle: I tried as faithfully as I could to recreate that "Rescue at Midnight Castle" design of hers, but it didn't came out that good initially. In the end, I was forced to add four extra strands to make it look better... ugh...

All in all, I'm quite pleased with the final outcome.
