So I guess just out of the sake of fairness. if I'm going to post photos of other people being totally blitzed, I might as well let a few of my own go. This is me some time durring the dead dog party at FSB 2001, sitting outside on the patio with my bottle and a permagrin.
good times. :)

I was taking part in a long standing tradition. Where I walk around the last day of a con with a bottle and my camera. Just so happens that someone took my camera and shot me with it right then. ;) I love when people do that actually, long as they take good pictures. Because I have very few photos of ME from cons. :)
Eh, Drunk isn't instant awesome, but it works well for me, I'm a happy drunk, and I've got enough Irish / German blood in me to be able to hold my liquor.
Mine, and yours, and his, and their friends, and.....

You wouldn't believe all the times I've fallen over, but not spilled my drink. ;) It would actually be pretty cool, but I don't know how cool getting fallen down drunk is. LOL I usually don't get that trashed, but once in a while I drink more than I want to, or someone will be like "Try this" and I'm drunk so I'll be like "Okay" and it knocks me flat on my tail end. But that's rare.
*snickers*
I still never broke a bottle. ;)

Why thank you. :) I don't usually keep it that long anymore, but I used to get a lot of comments about it. At one point, I had the tips bleached, which looked really cool. I might do that again some time. :) I always have long hair, just I have less of it now 'cause I shave it underneath. Too bloody hot in FL to have hair like I used to when I lived in NY.

Maybe, I know a few of my friends and family want to move there. And the couple times I've been there it was really nice. But then, if you live there you'd likely know more about it than I do. I've lived in NY, and FL though, and I could see that being a happy medium. :)

It could be. I did the same thing when I left NY. i thought I'd love it somewhere else for a while. But it turned out that I missed NY. Even now with me living in Florida for the last 7 years, I miss NY.
I'd say go do your thing, But leave it so you can go back if you want to. Just in case the grass isn't as much greener as you think it will be on the other side.

Dont let the permagrin fool you, I was. :) That was one of the best weekends I'd had in a long time. TONS of stuff happened to me that was really cool. For one, it was just awesome to be able to hang out with so many of my friends that were down here. I lived in NY at the time, so I didn't get the chance to see them very often. Then there was a little brush with love, a sword fight with Ty-Yen that we still hear about to this day, getting to hang out with Phil Morrissey some 'cause we're both night owls, a bunch of my friends from Canada were down there, so I got to hang with them as well. And ... the infamous dead dog.
I think honestly, a lot of my favorite con memories came from this con.
