Thank you :3 I really love both as well, though purple is my fav color I think this one is my favorite fur so far. I was nervous about using a short fur as I've seen a lot of tails with short fur come out looking not so great but I ended up being pleasantly surprised with it. There will also be another version of this tail which will be inverse (red & black areas are switched) I'm sad that it's not really possible to make a bigger tail with this fur due to the "stripes", but at least I'll be able to make some cool small ones :D
lol the very first one I made of this type was interesting because I'd pretty much just guessed as far as the size went. I'd held the pattern up to the mannequin but didnt really have a good idea of what it would really look like in 3D form. I walked around with it on a bit and had to jump up and down to see how it moved...which was fun because these tails are really cute on the wearer...at least I think so anyway XP
I really am in love with this fur lol I'd keep one for myself but none of my own characters have anything close to this type/color tail....I'm also working on another color (same fur type) that should be up within this next week ;3 I'm looking forward to seeing that one completed as well.

We've only been shipping within the US, but I can definitely check to see how much extra it would be to ship to Canada as we are wanting to be able to expand to ship to Canada anyway :3 if you'd like to send us an email with your address, I can probably look up how much it'd be online to save some time.
