I've had this guy in mind for a while.
Cresh is sort of an embodiment of the nastiest characteristics of my own identity. He's not a very fun guy. Kind of mean and hurtful. I have some more ideas for him, so maybe we'll see more later.

At the moment he's mostly a combination of traits I have and don't like, or traits that terrify me in principle: e.g. self loathing and cruelty. He's the sort of guy that would actually conduct and apply the more unpleasant tortures found in my gallery. He's not really capable of having interactions with others beyond hurting them.
I don't really have many "characters". Kailys is sort of a direct projection of myself, but is an independent character in as much as he's fictional and can be put into fictional situations and is more capable of abuse than I am. There's my wife's character, who serves a similar role. Beyond that I don't really have characters so much as recurring props or puppets... actors maybe-- they have enough personality to convey emotion or mood but not really much beyond that. They could probably be made into characters if given some semblance of internal life.
This guy... I think is more of a character in the sense that other people on FA have characters, i.e. something with identity that would take up actions if placed in a fictional scenario. However, operationally, he's less a character than an embodiment of concepts and pathology.
This is probably more obtuse of an answer than you were after, but that's how my brain works.

Are you kidding? Its much better than a simple "yeah." XD
I get what you're saying. There are plenty of folks who draw tons and tons of NPCs, if you will, that have but a few given traits to barely make them 2D. Where as a projection or fully developed character has a past, a way of thinking and living.
