This is my college piece self portrait :D I'm so very proud of it this is a mixed media self portrait I used ebony pencil, mechanical pencil, ink, and colored pencil
The rain in the piece the background are lyrics to Vanilla Twilight by Owl City you cant really tell in the photo but if you look up close you can read the lyrics following the top left corner all the way to the bottom right corner
This piece started out just as my next college piece but turned into a piece for my fiance when I was in England I was on spring break and already had the assignment but hesitated working on it because it was so sad and I was so happy I didn't think Id be able portray that very well so I waited until I left and then poured myself into this piece because I was pretty lost motivation wise once the depression kicked in and I already had known what I was going to do for the background but I didn't know what I wanted for the words in the rain and then it hit me as I was listening to the song on the way home I missed him so much and the words fit so perfectly it just clicked and THUS the piece before you is finished XD so thats that story and such yay!
Ill try to be more active soon now that this is finished :) please look forward to it
