5 1/4" blade from 1084 steel with high satin finish

I'm going for a long soak in reduced linseed oil. Just went out and checked it a few minutes ago and the mahogany has almost turned red. The grain is just astounding now it's all nice and shiny.

I use tung oil, but its pretty much the same thing really. I love mahogany myself.

My local hardware store doesn't stock tung oil : /

Last time I asked I got this REALLLY funny look from the employee I was talking to. You should've seen the reaction of the old lady when I asked if they carried satanite clay XD
