One of two acrylic paintings I did a while back. I never could get a decent photo of it with my camera. Like most of my paintings, it looks so much better in person.

And camera pic notwithstanding, this is a mighty fine looking 'vern in the portrait - he seems to be pretty pissed about the trespassers that invade his turf, too.
I just used a photo that I took for reference and tried to paint it. It took lots of time wasting and messing around to get it to finally look vaguely okay..
And as for that landscape... goodness! It's like a slice straight out of NZ! Fantastic!
But I have to say, the background looks very familiar to me^^

Ah, skippers! Where I nearly wrecked my car cause I though it's a good idea to see how far my subaru can get^^ Never been there when it's covered in snow, think I need to go there again, but this time I'll just take my feet^^
