Zoe Ayliffe became a ghost because someone On High screwed up the paperwork and put her name under "reaper" instead of "deceased". Natually, this has led to some problems. Normally, she just goes about her business, but since she's apparently a reaper (it says so on the file, dontyouknow) she's going to need some instruction.

So it falls to the spirit who was SUPPOSED to cart her off to the afterlife to teach her.

Assuming she doesn't just say "fuck it" and eat him.
