I think that was Poi, a starchy paste made from grinding up a yam-like tuber grown in Polynesia. The cosistency might be a little like mashed potatoes.

Poi, one finger, two finger or three finger? Considering Poi is purple I think that it would clash awfully with Gadgets fur don't you?
