I heavily modified it to be knit in the round, and I added a tassel tail and an i-cord horn to the instructions for the zebra. :)

I modified the pattern to be knit in the round on DPNs because my seams tend to be untidy, added a tassel for a tail, and knit a little i-cord horn onto the zebra head instructions. It's also fingering weight yarn instead of worsted, on size 2 needles, so it's much smaller than the pattern version too.
