I love how you drew the horns and nose. That's a really random thing to say but noses are HARD and you got the shape really well. I kinda get giddy when I see a nose that is well-drawn 8D

next step is figuring out ears...stupid ears.

Oh man you wouldn't believe how proud and happy I get when I draw a nose right LOL. Same as hands...hands are probably even harder for me x_x

I actually love drawing ears. The shape of the ear looks spot-on! If I could give you one tip, instead of using a dark brownish colour for the shading of the ear, try using a dark red. I tend to find that the folds in the ears are dark reds rather than shadowy colours (might have something to do with light passing through).

I did know of that effect, but wasn't sure how red it would be just because the ear is more in shadow, but you're looks much better then what i had hahah

Hands are stupid hard..eventually I just need to do a proper study of them...probably need to do several hahaaha
I suppose humans in general are difficult from the noses to lips to ear and hands..and FEET don't get me started on them toesees ugh
AND THATS WHY I PUT THAT DISCOUNT INTO PLACE. Hopefully I'll be able to get more practice with them and be awesome at them. Practice makes perfect..so they say :P

Yeah shadows can be tricky. I tend not to over-think them though, you see some artists who will map out where their lighting and shadows have to go, I don't do that so my lighting is probably always waaay off haha. I found watching tutorials about colour theory and that sorta thing helped :)

But I do plan to practice them a lot more. They're one of those things I've always tried to avoid, but no more!! Same with feet.

While I'm on the subject of humans, do you have any human characters? It's rare I come across people who enjoy drawing humans on this site XD

I know for a fact I waaayyyyy over think things, my perfection kicks in and I want it detail every last thing I do. I'm trying to get over that and detail only things I want focus on..it's not as easy as I'd like it to be, in the en I just see the "unfinished" parts as icky looking hahah I think that's a big part of the reason I admire your work so much you've pretty much got that down to a tee.

And I actually do, his name is Cain, though the only pic I ever did of him are reaaaallllllyyy old an terrible
He's basically an average looking 20year old with black hair and bit of facial hair. It's been such a long time that I've thought about him though.. Kinda got lost in the sea of furry art xD

But he goes with my other character Warrik(big dragon cat looking thing that most people associate me with)
Part of a story that ill probably never write haha

It is probably one of the best hands I have drawn though haha, but I probably spent more than an hour on it! It's hard balancing a line between detailing all teh things and trying to make things look simplistic. Hell I am still trying to work that out, but I think I'm getting there. Learning to not paint every single strand of fur, for example.

Let me know if you ever wanna do a human trade, and I'll draw him for you, I've been itching to draw humans lately! I still want to commission you but I need to save up, buying that new computer pretty much consumed my wallet lol. I have so many human characters from stories that I have written. I plan to actually draw them myself one day, but for now I will just pay/trade other people to draw them XD

I'd love to do one if I find the time hahaha
