Found an old charcoal pencil and started doodlin a horse. :)
Used white paint for a couple of highlights. Added old paper texture using photoshop, since it was just plain white paper.

I love the look of this ^^
One thing that I can kind of see that looks a little funny is the front leg that's up, its like in the top half pf the shoulder doest have enough muscle definition. I think if you added a couple more dark shadows it will make it stand out better.
Excellent work though for just a sketch and I really love the old paper texture. It reminds me of something you would see out of like an old antique field journal :)

The photo didn't have a name on it, didn't know who it was by. Found on google when looking up horses, thought it was cool lookin.
Felt the need to draw it, also figured it'd be good practice for horse body anatomy. x_X I'm still not grand at it. Never have been and probably never will be.

Yeah, I just don't like relying on them. I havn't had to do that in ages, but I'm completely lost when it comes to horse body anatomy. X[
I'm glad people like it though. My charcoal pencil (probably about 12-13 years old) kept falling apart, but then that's what I get for finding it in the garage after that long. lol
