I like to play Blacklight: Retribution. It's a fun, free-to-play FPS shooter for PC (and coming to the PS4 at some point). But yes, it's fun.
It's sort of like Call of Duty, set in a Shadowrun-ish Corporations are Huge and stuff, and also other things, but with an emphasis on being able to customize your weapons with universal parts, to make a gun that is built for you. Different barrels, muzzles, magazines, scopes, stocks, receivers, they all come together to make a beautiful leadslinging device of death.
So, why all that? Because this pic is how I imagine Salen would look, running around that world of information control and military power.
The HRV visor gives Salen the ability to use electronic devices in the area to pinpoint enemies, while heavily padded kevlar vests with special reactive armor plating helps keep him alive. The armor pieces are from different armor, all mixed together to make something that would be more to Salen's scavenger-based desire to horde stuff.
No tail for Salen though. Tails are soft and fluffy, but not exactly a good thing when you're trying to be a heavily armored agent sneaking around with enough firepower to level a city block. The first proximity mine probably would have blown the limb straight off anyways...

Been awhile since I've seen you draw Salen. I'd actually forgotten that you'd switched over to drawing ferrets with long snaky necks ages ago. You're muzzles and ears have softened since then, which I think is a good thing for the direction you're taking your style. This is... less toon, more organic? Expressive yet animalistic?
...I know, I fail at compliments. I'll just sit in the corner and construct a funeral pryre for the poor ferret's tail.

Heh. Thanks.
And yeah, a big bushy tail is a wonderful thing... until you have to wear an armored body suit in similar fashion style to a bomb disposal technician's bomb suit, and expect to not have such limbs blown clear. Easier to just crop it while the subject is in the big bio-tub of yellowy-orange liquid that all mutant/clone/monstrosities of science are created in...
But yeah, I draw stuff, just not... enough... This was one of my few scribbles I felt was worth posting, to be truthful.
