This is my Egypt clay jackal amulet. The pic is kind of bad, you can’t see the pale blue glaze that covers about half of the one inch long figure.
It’s the Son of Ra, Duat. Or Duat Mutef with translates to “THE UNDERWORLD IS HIS MOTHER”. He protects the heart and lung (the location of the Egyptian soul).
Dated to the XXIII Egyptian Dynasty 817BC.
