Ok, now as many calenders leave it out for some reason, April Fools Day can sneak up on a person.
Now, why this holiday invented, sometimes, gets beyond me. I get it that some people need a day when they have an excuse to be childish and play pranks on people. Me? Ho ho, back home I got that enough OFF a single day, so I'm no stranger to it. Sometimes just goes too far, or sometimes "it's not a good day to do it"
Anyway, I'm no big AFD person...but I get the holiday. Sometimes you just need to drop some inhibitions and have a good time. BUT...you gotta do it within reason and not push things.
For me, considering I've already dealt with my fair share, I don't like getting pranked at the over-the-top level. I'm not much of a pranker on people either....unless they try it on me.
Now, Randall knew this holiday already (guess monster-world calenders keep track of humans too), but he wasn't aiming to prank. Apparently he's familiar enough with them himself, at least in the past sense I guess, so I didn't have to worry about him and he didn't have to worry about me, cool.
But that leaves the other one...
Apparently Spyro knew the holiday was coming up. No sooner than did I enter his cell than did he fling a pie in my face without warning 0_- (case your wondering, it was his dessert). Naturally HE laughed like heck...me on the other hand...lets just say me and my shock pistol were less than amused.
STILL...I can take a joke...as long as I get to reply in kind hehehehe.
SO, while purple boy was out cold, I booted up a rather specific sequence on the holo-deck (of which Spyro knows nothing about hehehe)...
If anybody's read or played the chronically of Spyro's adventures in "A Heroes Tail", they'll get this better. In the dragon village (guess it's his home), there's a very overlooked dragon that I'm surprised people forget considering Spyro's...ahem...characteristics hehehe.
Anyway, no sooner than Spyro woke up than did he realized that he was in the arms of Ms. Shoutfire hehehehe!
For the uninitiated, Ms. Shoutfire is the "nanny" and caretaker of dragon eggs in the village. Non-professionally, that means "babysitter heh heh. Apparently, the Shoutfire program agrees with some of the theories that Spyro's pretty young and is trying to be...well she said it best heh heh. I'm surprised nobody else thought this scenario might happen heheh.
Well, when Spyro realized who he SUDDENLY was in the arms of he...well...you can see hehehe. He thinks he's in the ACTUAL nursery of the village and in the arms of his resident nanny, who probably has been aiming to prove a certain purple dragon belongs THERE instead of wandering off heheh.
SO, I left him in shock and awe...have a good time Spyro hehehehe.

Well actually, considering how (I've seen) him act around Ms. Shoutfire in the game, with him being all big-shotty that essentially "I'm saving the world, MIGHT AS WELL get the eggs", didn't expect him to react this way.
So maybe not so much as payback as in getting him a little straightened out on his moral compass. I mean the way he acted to HER....well maybe it's sorta putting him in a position where he'd have to deal with it.
Granted it's a joke, I just didn't know how his reaction would be until, well, it happened.
Ahh don't worry, when the guy gets through the thing he'll have a pie on me.
........NOT literally mind you.

Yeah. And I mean...eggs were basically KIDS and he was SO pompous about it 0_0 I mean "ok, I'll SAVE THE WORLD...MIGHT AS WELL save these yet-to-be-born-and-have-a-life eggs"
Sounded like he didn't really care I think this is more of justification in the eyes for Shoutfire than it is as retaliation from me
True....though Alma would probably suggest a muzzle (ok, that's too mean) or get rid of his own MAG supply to get him to be sociable

Yeah, especially (at least in Legend) he was such a cool guy going the extra mile, even to help an adversary.
Considering I thought him wearing a diaper (er..."I" wear a MAG, HE wears...well...yeah. Ahem.) would have been a little humiliating, think we saw how THAT turned out It may not be as difficult for him...buuuuutttt...yeah, hopefully it'll teach him to be like he was.

Oh yeah I heard about that too, wonder if he knows...
Strange that they didn't go that route, looked pretty cool. Guess they'll do a tv series of Skylanders though...
Still...why not just GIVE HIM a television series instead of going Skylanders. There's like...a TON of people in that, kinda removes the focus on who actually started the thing.

I concur with Mrs. Spitfire when it comes to his new attitude. Still, since Spyro likes his diapers enough to subconsciously use them, he might've been secretly wanting this. Or something close to this. So the prank's not too harsh. Sides, you obviously know Spyro's not mature enough to even wear MAGs, (or so I think you said), it's a good time to test that theory!
Probably heh. Well I got the com link on so if things get testy for him I'll pull him out. So far though doesn't seem like there's been much of a problem...I just ran the immediate area and Shoutfire so he'll still think he's in the actual place.
Would be interesting though what his interactions with others would be...hmm...
