An elder wolf shaman uses a ritual to call upon the spirits with the smoke of his fire.
This is a piece of card artwork I did for the latest Furoticon set, the Tribes of Tanglebrook (more info at https://www.furoticon.com or
Seppel)
I'm currently holding an auction for the original sketch of this piece, along with a print and a signed card! See this page for more info: http://www.furbuy.com/auctions/1041341.html
**Note: I realize now that there are aspects of this piece which may be considered offensive to indigenous folk. At the time this piece was done to the specifications of Furoticon's request, which included the dreamcatcher, as their new card set had a tribal theme. It is not something I would ever depict again, as it is not my culture and I have no right to do so. I sincerely apologize for my past ignorance.

I sketch on drawing paper, then transfer the sketch to watercolor paper or cardstock for coloring, it's just better for me to work with the right materials for each step in the process. That also prevents too many scribbly sketch lines on the final product :3 I hope that answers your question!
