i actually really really like the comic thingy going on in the lower half of this.

I want to make comics that are over the top and actiony and insane.

I guess my first order of business now is getting this guy a better outfit. blank shirt/shorts is not the best thing ever. Unless its the beginning of the story but then it still needs to change so yeah. I mean it's functional but in all honesty i'm going to want to be going for a higher level of detail and so he needs to have at least a design on his shirts or something. Gotta have an iconic look, ya know. I think the first order of business is to look up clothes and get some drawings done so they can be semi accurate.

gah comics take so much time. They're fun tho. I wish my inking looked as good as my pencilling, i have no real idea how to make it look all better other than the general "make sure you have nice line variation" and stuff. I suppose that's the basic gist of it, and i just need to experiment more with the tools that i'm using. The G pen tool in mangastudio is not doing what i want, but i'm probably not using it the way i'm supposed to idk. I guess i'll try some invariable length markers and work from there.

Also with a fat character it becomes noticably more difficult to have dynamic poses because one the limbs look shorter in comparison to the body and two those legs are tiny i mean come on. I'm probably going to have to emphasize his arms whenever i do anything with him. Gonna have super strength its gonna be good.

If this becomes a comic this lion dude would probably be one of the main characters, along with a human action lady and they would beat the crap out of nanobot-infested aliens (or something) using the power of their fists. Idk its a cocktail of all sorts of action shows and games. I want fights that remind people of god hand and soul eater, with a scale that eventually goes to Gurren-Lagann levels. I mean i came up with this after watching a lets play of asura's wrath and wyden had a cool moveset that i totally am not going to steal.

Man i hope i can actually make some of this because it's a fun idea but my life is already super busy.
