I was in a very Portal-y mood today (mainly because I got this kickin' Aperture Laboratories wristband yesterday) and figured I'd draw up a little ref of Glare in the Portal universe. My brain was in a good mood, and created an alternative post-portal 2 reality where GLaDOS woke up the other subjects after Chell left. Shush, I haven't played the protal 2 co-op so no bitching.

Time of Testing: Post Portal 2

Glare is an interesting character in this alternate reality. She is a test subject that often vanished into the depths of the lab and nearly always escaping GLaDOS' attepts to keep her with the rest of the subjects. This, however, is rarely seen as little more than a bother. She may not hang around, but she is always present when the artificial intelligence is in need of a test subject. Truthfully, she loves to test. The challenge is her favorite thing. She would keep testing forever if she didn't spend so much time escaping GLaDOS' control.

Interesting facts go here-
-Sleeves torn off jacket: I hate having sleeves when i'm doing anything active, so she tore the sleeves off the jacket that comes with the jumpsuit. Now it's a vest.
-Portal Gun Sling: Made from strips of torn sleeves tied together. Easier than carrying that thing around, as I find I am very reliant on my hands, so making a portal gun sling seemed like a good idea so I didn't have to carry it when I wasn't testing
-Wrist Brace: I broke my left wrist as a cub and re-broke along the original break when I was 13, so my left wrist is much weaker than my right. Glare would probably need that to keep up with the physical demand that comes with testing
-Cargo Shorts: Due to her willingness to test, Glare is allowed a pretty much free reign of the Lab. She always returns when needed, so there is never really a problem. She broke into an employee locker room and stole a pair of cargo shorts. The pockets come in handy for holding all the mechanical knicknacks she picks up along the way. Subjects who have seen her "lair" (i.e. a disused test chamber) claim that she keeps broken Turrets and corrupted cores stashed away and is trying to use the junk she picks up to fix them up.
