I think in a situation like this, there would be two options. He'd stop pretty quickly after he realized all the fluffiness is gone or he would just keep going and going like repeat panel two for an hour. Then, yeah, you'd probably have to tell him to stop. XD

Yes, we can reach high places... but I'll explain why that's a bad thing.
"Hey, could you get the thing off the top shelf for me?"
"Just give me a minute, I need to finish this up."
"Well I need this now before dinner spoils."
"Can't you just get the step ladder?"
"It's in the back of the closet behind some stuff, just get up and help me."
(With a sigh, I get up, rush over, grab the thing, rush back as fast as I can. Five seconds later...)
"Come put this back up."
"I just got it down for you!"
"Well, I'm done with it now."
"Why do you even put stuff on the top shelf if you can't reach it!"
"Why do you have to argue all the time?!"
Aaaand it carries on from there.
