Love your voice. Have you taken voice lessons? if not you should consider them, As nice as your voice is your off a few keys here and there. Other then that you sound beautiful. Also I don't think the song does justice for you, it feels a little unbalanced for your voice.
As a completely non-musical individual, I rather prefer the 'honesty' of the occasional fluctuation, it better reflects the restrained passion + loss imparted by the lyric -
and lets face it, the original flash is possibly the most unbalanced moment anyone can experience, I feel it adds rather than detracts:

That is a very insightful view of the song and I do agree with the idea of fluctuations created by emotions. Unfortunately rather then sounding like emotional stumbles they come as notes not quite reached. Again I love his voice and that he even did something to showcase his talent. I am merely suggesting that he has great potential and should seek professional training if he hasn't already.
