They had met at the local club, she a popular DJ (the only DJ there really) and him a simple patron. He had thought her to be cute and was drawn in by her looks. His friend had noticed this, and dared the deerling to ask her out. The deerling had gathered up his courage and did so the next day. To his surprise, Skyflower accepted.
Come that weekend, he met with Skyflower at the club. He was surprised to find the shaymin who normally kept her Sky Forme instead in her more simplistic Land Forme. As she explained, she liked to use that form when she wanted to keep a low profile and simply enjoy the day and relax. When asked if he minded, the deerling, Summer, shook his head and smiled.
He didn't mind and in fact understood her reasoning. While it had been Skyflower's looks in her other form that had drawn him in, he wasn't so shallow to base things solely on them. He had wanted to get to know her as a being and in a more calm state himself. The light rain that had started deterred neither from their plans as the set off walking off on their first (of hopefully many) date.
A simple commission I had gotten from
kompy of my deerling, Summer, and her shaymin, DJ Skyflower. I really do love the way this came out and how cute these two look together.
