Well, I finally got my Doctor Who DVDs (was about time...)
So i'm about to re watch it. AGAIN.
And I had to do some fanart...even if it's a bit sloppy ^^;
Don't bother telling me you like David Tennant better. I KNOW.
But I like Matt Smith very much too. He even looks alien 8D
He has ALIEN written all over his abstract face!
P.S.: We need a Timelord species-tag.

I liked Chris too, he was the one that made me watch the show. Then David started doing it and at first i didn't like him then he grew on me and i enjoyed the show more. However now.... just don't like Matt.... idk why, maybe its because he looks too "alien". Or the fact he has a male and female companion now who are a couple or will end up as one idk i only know bits and pieces of their background, kinda makes the Doctor out to be a third wheel. Anyway i just can't get into it now, maybe I'll start watching it when they get the 12th Doctor in.
Holy shit, "sloppy", [cries about own art]

I totally agree there's something 'alien' about him, particularly his ephemeral personality. He seems to shift around rather than being static and predictably insane like Tennant. I mean, he's just kind of effectively, if subtly, creepier like that.
(Plus, there is no way I don't like Matt Smith after he screwed around onstage with Orbital. So much respect thrown in his general direction.)

That's a most impressive job you've done here. Fantastic!
The Doctor himself would be proud to see this...if he weren't busy saving all of existence from the impending chaos soon to rain upon us by freaky alien fish things. Honestly, when he said he wanted fish and chips, I think they got just a little bit upset. XD

Matt is great when he gets to show how old, and lonely, the Doctor really is nowadays. He can get weird when the writers make him to be 'funny doctor', but the moments where he can get serious and often quite sullen, it's like looking at the First Doctor in his eyes.
People tend to like Tennant because he's had such a long run right before Matt took over, but Matt's getting rather close to that as well.
'My' doctor will always be Tom Baker, but Matt's a close second :D

Very nice.
I myself am a generation eleven Who fan. I started watching the show when Matt Smith was the Doctor, right around the time of the whole time is broken fiasco where the Doctor apparently had to die to fix. Dear god did I spend hours trying to figure that cluster**** out. Time travel is awesome... but so confusing. Especially when you factor in River's weird backwards flow thing.
I liked David Tenant, and Tom Baker really pulled off the PTSD thing well. Peter Capaldi is... meh. But Matt Smith, to me, is The Doctor.
