Alright alright, god.. I was so close too! That stupid little critter just jumped from out of nowhere!
Alright.. I'll just jump on a new character, keep an eye open for the lil' grabber guys and I should be fine, let's do this again.

Well it's great! I will start taking ideas from other music, because one of the problems I have when trying to compose is that I want it to sound way too unique, and I don't want to sound like anyone else. Then again it's hard to be too original these days, because everything has been covered up already. I think it's about time I accept it's all about personality rather than authentic originality. What do you think?
Heh, it is all about personality; Personally I believe the most important contributor is the listener, they make it unique in the end. The more personality you embed the more you allow it to evolve in the hearts and ears of everyone who takes the time to listen. That being said, try something with your music that you simply want to do, take what you're use to and completely go the other direction, take everything you've learned and see if you can't apply a new strange layer of sound to it, find two things that don't usually go together.
It's an interesting road, but really just remember where the sounds end up, remember where they started in the first place. And if you have a minute or two, check out this artistic advice, it might be more for drawing, but the same principles still apply to any art~
