Basically, vector graphics are different from raster graphics (which are built up of a bunch of pixels), with vector art the program uses mathmatics to build forms. It's kinda hard for me to explain :{ But if you go on say deviant art and just browse the vector art you'll see what I mean. The wonderful thing about vector graphics is that no matter how close you zoom in it can never become pixelated! :]

That's really bad ass. Nope nope, I'm not that fancy, my scanner just scans ink juuuust so so it's nice a solid black. You'll note some of the rays are really really pixelated, that's because I messed up on them irl so I just threw them in with MS Paint.

awwwr yea I noticed. If you ever get a chance you should play w/ a vector graphics program. I suggest Adobe Illustrator, or if you wanna animate as well you could go w/ Adobe Flash.
