With this image, I found it interesting that you were able to rather clearly convey Lunaris' age in the image. The way you drew his face, his size, his mannerisms lent well to a very true-to-form portrayal. You have this character spot on. ^^ Metal armor is rare in Amani but someone of Lunaris' status would probbaly have it. The battle-skirt is very canon in the series and makes good sense because the "plates" of it can be made very thick, but still flexible enough to allow a full range of motion.

The characters in the series were never said to be digigrade, but for fan-art and a capturing of other artists style, I am thrilled to see them this way. Lunaris looks like serious business here.

Thank you very much! I went with digitigrade for the pieces simply as a way to practice with more animalistic forms, I tend to lean toward animal on the human---animal anthro scale, I guess, haven't had the experience to really find that out. I didn't know what weapon he prefers in the series, I know nidaja has her longsword, so I just gave him a greatsword and roundshield, I don't know how canon that is.

He'd likely not bother with a shield if he has a sword that size, he'd need both hands to effectively wield it, even as strong as he is. Ultimately, Lunaris does not typically go into battle alone either, and also prefers the element of surprise. He's the back up general to the Amanian Defense Forces, in charge when Nidaja is roaming the countryside picking up slaves to sleep with. :3
