Jasmine died last February 3rd 2012 as my sister and brother in law were moving into a new house that is closer to where we live in the country side in central Minnesota.

Trooper we've had for so many years I can't remember how it's been he's been with us.

The problems about him: HE DOESN'T KNOW WHEN TO STOP BARKING WHEN TOLD TO!!!! Especially when he's barking to get treats EVEN after being given one after going to the bathroom outside and some times he poops in the house even after going outside, not only that but he digs in the litter box to chew on cat poop!!! What a disgusting habit for him to pick up.

And I recommend you NEVER get this breed unless you're willing to put up with endless LOUD barking and can train them to quit barking on command.

Even my dad complains about his barking since it hurts his ears.

I apologize for the rant about his behavior and for those who own a Dashcund but for me it's very hard keeping myself from yelling at him because his barking drives me nuts!! Every time I hear his bark it's always repeating in my head and drives me crazy! I use my MP3 player just to drown it out so I don't go nuts.
