The feet of absinthe are done, and as of this point means she is complete! No full body pictures just yet (not a turn around view anyway!) so for now, this will have to do :)
The feet were built to have the purpose of having the shoe removable, mainly because the trainers the customer picked would have been difficult to glue foam to, and I wanted to make it as comfortable as possible for her! So the shoe can slide in and out of the hole, but it can stay in securely as needed - I can run and walk around pretty well in them, and they do make a very nice "clomp" noise. The insides of the feet are covered with fleece to give them a clean and tidy look, with different colours (dark teal in one, light blue in the other) to help sigify which shoe is meant to go into which foot. The bottom of the digitgrade padding can slide into the "sock" part of the foot, helping to add to the digitgrade effect :)
