I was trying to lean more towards natural colors, but vibrant isn't off the table entirely. I'm still pretty game for anything. I suppose if I did stay with the black it would spread out onto his lower back some and maybe a little bit onto the spin. /Strokes invisible beard./ I haven't really drawn him without clothes yet.
reds would work well, especially less vibrant ones.
you could go with http://www.colorhexa.com/aa2239 for the jacket and then have a nice contrasting color like http://www.colorhexa.com/95aa35, or maybe something less extreme http://www.colorhexa.com/7060b5
or you could go for something more uniform in color and make it stand out against the yellow fur, which would give you dark blue and purples for the clothes

well because he is your fursona you can do whatever you want with him, one design doesn't mean you have to keep him that way all the time. Like say you want him in a party or as a singer, he could dye his hair and then just change back later. :) thats why I'm not to picky with my characters, cause if I wanted to change them, they are mine to change.
