Ah. I see. I usually use my fingernail to pry and work the "split ring" as I think it is officially called. And sometimes I have to stop and let the split ring pinch the object you are trying to get it around, hence why I thought it would be very painful for mewtwo's "second neck".
And I think I thought at some point that you could put things through mewtwo's "loop" :3

I've never seen that type of key before. It looks like a cross over of a Schlage and Weiser that had a battle and lost its shoulders. It could also be a Best key. o3o You didn't put much detail into the key. ;3; Why you make difficult for locksmith?

I drew it looking almost exactly like one of my old keys I had. The only detail I missed was the logo on the handle.
