hmmm, I've always wondered what the purpose was being the cropping of the character like that. I've seen it done many times with various artists. Will you be the one to satisfy my curiosity?

I did it 'cause I didn't like how his legs came out. They sucked a great deal. Plus I had this totally insane idea that he'd be a good book illustration and stuff, and I'm a rabid fan of White Wolf's gaming books and their illustrations (Ron Spencer IS GOD INCARNATE) and some'a those had cool border thingies and stuff. I originally intended on adding a knotwork border, but...now, YEARS later, I've never gotten around to it and have totally lost interest. XD
