Practice, Practice, Practice. I'm trying to get some consistency in my work... Not there yet!
So i keep doing art drills and all kinds of things. Painting straight from photographs like this, (not painting over!) speed paintings, sketching, value studies, working from multiple references, (and bears, oh my!) Less finished original pieces that way, but im learning more. Ya know, to make even better finished pieces.

About 4-5 hours in photoshop
