Patrick FoxChild and his mate IceFox enjoy an afternoon nap in front of a warm fire.
Hand drawing, scanned and colored using GIMP. (6 hours elapsed)
While praise is wonderful, my goal is improvement. Constructive criticism and critique is welcome.
Been having a lot of free time at work while I remain available to pick up architectural questions and work for the half dozen projects going on in the office while we transition.
If I keep up at this pace, I'm gonna burn myself out before I get to March! :)
Enjoy!
Icefox and
foxchild are their respective characters.

Well, everybody has to start somewhere and don't think of it as "catching up." The worst thing you can do is compare yourself to everyone else. There's always going to be someone better than you, or that you THINK is better than you.
While it is important to be honest and critical with your works, it is important that you remember not to be brutally so. Each new work is a step ahead, the culmination of lessons learned. Mistakes are not so much inevitable, but required for anyone to learn. Look at each one as just an experiment which failed to meet their potential.
Create for your own enjoyment and the enjoyment of those who inspire you to exercise that creativity. It is there that true enjoyment begins.
*Hugs*
I'm glad I can inspire you to improve and continue!

Thanks AngelBear. Each time I put another piece into GIMP I poke around for other features which will generate a new look or take my skills to another level.
I'm not really sure why I had blockage with Photoshop CS but took so well to GIMP, but for a free piece of software, it's very nearly as powerful and produces a finished product that parallels PS.
*Hugs*
Be well!
