Center Axis Relock isn't bad at all, however unconventional it might be.
I didn't know Snake used C&S; the only MGS game that I've played has been MGS4, and I must not have noticed it. As to reload times, I'm not sure why putting your hand in the way of the magazine you're trying to drop would be a good thing... especially not when you're sacrificing so much control over the gun when firing. I suppose that in the MGS world of gun-to-knife transitions being able to hold a knife while shooting would be a plus, but IRL, if I'm having to defend my life with a gun, I won't be worrying about getting a knife out at the same time.

mgs4 is.....bizarre. idk why snake knows advanced cqc suddenly between game 2 and 4. hes not big boss. i think there was some confusion there. originally in 1 and 2, snake uses C&S
the knife and gun tactic is useful ONLY in extreme close quarters, and if youre on the offensive. its rendered pointless in a shoot out, and its stupid to do in medium and long range capeable environments. snake uses it because its snake. idk why itd be handy irl, unless youre just able to anticipate for the worst case scenario at all times. lol
