It takes a little while to get used to Oekaki, and it also helps if you're familiar with drawing with a mouse or a tablet, as well as know how to use an art program (like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop). If you search through Yahoo or Google, I'm sure there's a good selection of Oekaki tutorials out there that can help you with it :)
