FINALLY I SAT DOWN AND FIGURED OUT HOW TO DRAW THIS THING!
For those that don't know, I play Warhammer 40k. Its a tabletop miniature army game set in the distant future. My army is the Necrons, an ancient race that gave up their soul for eternal life. After a long war many many centuries ago, they went into mass hibernation and waited for a time to re-awaken at full power and conquer the universe again.
All-in-all, I am a very big fan of their lore and of how the army plays in general (They are tough as nails to kill!). Here, we have a basic Necron warrior using a staff of light. Maybe the original wielder died in battle, or maybe he is one of the lucky few that still has independence and uses it in battle. Nonetheless, he is still responsible for keeping the field lit with its power. I love the shading in this!
