The tsuba (hand guard) is complete, and only lacks a little polishing before I turn it black. The habaki (blade collar) is rough-shaped and soldered closed. The thin wire around it was to hold the joint closed while soldering and will be removed next. I melted the previous one due to improper fluxing. x.x I can't wait to see these babies fitted onto the blade! XD
