Ever hear of the new scrapbook-type books called Smash?

I am not much of a scrapbook-er per say....but I couldn't help but buy myself one because I think they are so neat!

I used to keep journals when I was in high school especially when my life seemed to get a bit dark. I could pour my heart out onto those pages, write the things I could never say aloud, and leave a piece of me behind. A good source of self-therapy.

Anyway, that's kinda my plan with this book, but I don't know if you could really call it a journal. I think this is just going to be a collection of things I like, love, or something I just want to express/create(which is why this page is actually towards the back of the book =P).

Truthfully, I have had this thing since November and have been trying to think of how to start it. The pages can seem so intimidating...That first entry, no matter where, is always hard to start. Finally, it came to me.

Song lyrics are always very inspiring and can be very good at stirring up the emotions. Wait for me did just that. Lyrics that touch close to home, reminding me of old memories and the feelings that will always plague me. The ghost in my heart. Music so powerful, that it forced me to create art. I can think of no better page to start my memory book off with ♥
