I'd normally post something like this(messy, sloppy doodle) to my Tumblr, but I feel my gallery is lacking lately. I've been posting mostly auctions and adoptables, and not much else, and while this is not polished or something I spent a lot of time on, I think it's at least something. So, here's some baww art!
I've been playing with the marker tool in SAI and I just love it for sketching, and messy coloring. I can't believe I've ignored it for so long. It's fun!

got this feeling when my cat strained her hind leg when she got scared from the snow falling down from the roof, and she were inside running on the bathroom... it was sunday morning and vet weren't open until monday. She were having a lot of pain and only thing i could do was pet her and try to make her feel ad comfy as i could. and on the monday, i FINALLY were able to get some painrelief for her. first there were somekind of cortison shot which eased the pain immediately, and then i got some oral painkiller what i needed to mix on her food. Needed to give that for a week until she were better with her leg.
That happened a year and half ago. almost 2.
Hopefully you're okay with everything...

Aw, that sounds like when Dorito had an infection. When I first moved her to my house from my moms, in maybe 2009 or 2010, she had wounds on her backside/leg area. I didn't know it until I saw she was leaking clear fluid. Took her to the vet and they said she had a large abscess under the skin and wounds on both sides of her body. They shaved her whole backside and punctured two holes in her, running a soft plastic tube inside of her body and out the other hole. I had to flush her infection with antibiotics and stuff for a few weeks to clear it out. It was a miserable experience for her, but she healed up nicely!
Just me being too sensitive about my cat's non life threatening sickness.

She has what the vet believes to be feline herpes. Fortunately she doesn't have the worst case, but her eyes often get swollen and red. She's often got one of them closed and she paws and licks and scratches a lot. She often will scratch very hard, and more than a few times, she's cut herself with all of the scratching. It's not life threatening, but it is incurable unfortunately, so she will always be in this discomfort. :( Every now and then I just get really upset for her because she'll sit there and just rub and rub and rub at her eyes and squint and they'll be drippy and irritated, sometimes bleeding. I can only imagine how much it sucks for your eyes to be irritated all of the time.
I have a powder that I have to put in her food twice a day and she also gets eye drops 4-6 times a day. Unfortunately, this last kind of eye drop he gave me does absolutely nothing, so I will need to switch back to the first one. I don't know if the first one was helping, but I'm certain the new one does not. She's had irritated eyes for weeks, regardless of the drops. :C

Oh that's awful! <:c How did she get it? Was she ever an outdoor cat or was this a freak-accident where a cold sore burst and got infected? Usually with cases like this, it's trial and error, you'll have to try a few new things here and there and hope it helps a bit, I hope you guys find something that helps her eyes, D:> I can see how watching this happen would be upsetting. :c
Unfortunately, she was an indoor/outdoor cat for most of her life. She's about 12/13 now. She was born in the wild, was captured by my moms boyfriend and given to me when I was a child. The first year or so, she lived strictly indoors when I was with my dad. I moved in with my mom and she became an indoor cat with complete free reign to go in or out as she pleased. It was that way for many years. She's a hardened cat, with a lot of street smarts because of it, but it's also why she is in the condition she's in. She often would fight with other cats. I'm certain she got it in a fight. In 2006, I moved out of my moms house and into my boyfriends house. In 2009 or 2010, she came into my care again permanently and she's been an indoor cat ever since. The damage was already done by then. My next cat will never, ever step foot outdoors with it's own feet.
