Here's another photo of my SLK55 AMG (2007, R171) with the plastidipped wheels.
I kid you knot (lol, pun with the title) that most people think it's black from far away...but the car is a very dark blue. It was hard to take a picture actually where you could tell the color...the wax job is uber reflective if the sun hits it at all!
Anyway, here he is with his top up! Can't go topless all the time!

Yeah, they're 6/4~
The car is heavier than it looks...5.4+ L V8 in a little 2-seater. I've managed 4.4s 0-62, though pros have been able to do it faster~
Before I bought the car I was watching a few roadster races, and one of them had the SLK55 against a Boxster, Crossfire, 350z, S2000, and Z4...the SLK destroyed them (the engine is just unfair), but another thing they noted was that whereas all the other cars eventually lost braking power, the AMG never did. They literally just kept the throttle up and modulated brake usage in turns~
Also, WRXs are fun! You can actually push those without doing drastically illegal things (a downside to my car. Everyone knows if I push it with the new exhaust, and it's really way too fast for a daily driver...not that such things stop me!)

Hahaha, the WRX is drastically illegal, it does 0-100(kph) in just under 4s, insane amounts of fun.
The EVO is all legal and about the same power, but has S-AYC so it's a wizard around corners and braking. :P
But that must be really quick though, I've driven a new Boxster S, they are properly fast. :3

Mmhmm! It is properly fast...at least enough for me! I say many times that my car is much better than the driver! x3
Last Porsche I test drove was a base 2007 Boxster (let's face it, the Boxster and its variants are all I'd be able to afford, lol) and albeit fun, it just didn't have the power delivery that the SLK55 (or newer Boxsters I imagine) had~

Yuh, we decided to get a B4 on set a few months back as a cruiser, and it sounds really tough for a 2l boxer, the WRX is louder, but the B4 roars, it's a really strange little engine. I had a hail damaged ex-interceptor SS commodore when I was 17 here with a big LS1 in it, I'm still sad I never took the exhaust off to see what it sounded like. :P
I do! I've different wheels (19" two-tones) and it only gets out once or twice a week (my commute is pretty far) and it's filthy as all heck (it rarely gets washed), but I still love my lovely little beast!!!
I test drove one of the newer SLC43s and...well, honestly I just like my SLK55 more, so I'll be sticking with it for a while!
