it's an oblique perspective, things will get like that at the end, cause it supposed to not be in your vision range, I followed the perspective points blindly, so it has to be correct, weird but correct :3

Why is the bookcase so heavily outlined, though? It doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the picture.

using the perspective points for the shading, it's a bitch D:! still it works at the end and you can do nice stuffs ^^

the book case... well... it's because it's wood, and... not wood sheets, but I guess leaving them black wasn't a good idea, if they were brown it would look better, but oh well :3!

Nooooo... But I have no idea how perspective works. I always die inside when people want me to draw interiors. It's such a pain in the tail. I was so ashamed this one time when I drew a classroom and a friend here in FA pointed out how messed up everything was. ~_~;;

perspective is something that we use in plans, buildings structures, etc, not necessary in art, I remember that drawing, it was a kick ass drawing <3

Hm... not bad, but you still need to work on it a little. The angle of the left wall makes the room look rhomboid, as though the computer desk is away from the wall. Ruick's bed looks crooked, as well; we're seeing his feet lined up, but the foot of the bed slants toward the end of the room. The near end of the bookcase narrows at the bottom, while the far does not. Finally, if we're looking at the far left corner and the far left corner isa right angle, we shouldn't be able to see the right-paw picture at all. (But that may just be a common cheat used for showing both walls.)

The devil, as they say, is in the details. You're getting there. Just apply the vanishing point less vigorously and you'll be fine.

Great pawprint rug, btw. I love the artwork, you understand; you draw wonderfully. The perspective just needs a bit more work, is all.
