Excellent knife, I've edc'd it for a few years. Some say it's a bit big for edc but I find it just about right in terms of function as long as you don't have small hands. The size might be a bit intimidating for some people, which is why I switched to a small fixed blade for edc sometimes (esee candiru). Gets me much fewer odd looks.
Knife is a bit heavy due to the solid liners, which you can machine out if you want relatively easily. Locking mechanism is very solid and smooth, feels much better than benchmade's axis locks. While it does have a tendency to get gunked up with dust and pocket lint, I have never had that affect function. S30v holds an edge for a very long time, but is a bit difficult to get completely razor-sharp. I really wish the blade was full flat ground instead of hollow ground, though. The new generation Manix 2 is full flat ground and honestly it looks too appealing to pass up.

Benchmade's knives are great but I'm personally not a fan of thumb studs. If you've got big fingers or are wearing gloves they can be tough to open.
Spyderco is doing a sprint run version of the manix 2 right now which is about ~$70 more than a regular manix 2. It's got skeletonized liners and a full flat ground cpm cru-wear blade. I might just have to get myself one of these.
