In this one I tried applying Jim's design to an anthropomorphic creature. The results are... arguably decent. I still have a long way to go.

Those questions always get me, well he doesn't really have much history unless it goes by my RL history haha. Personality would be same as mine too. Serious looking most of the time, friendly, decent sense of humor, usually calm. How much will you do these for?

Wel good things will eventually come full circle. Eventually CGI will get old and they'll want something else~ And that's when 2D makes another breakout~

And that's fine. They dump their artists after every project I hear. I bould be wrong though.

Pixar would be a better path I think, they have control over their stuff still even though disney somewhat owns them.

That Paper love story short was traditionally made + Digital, and became a great piece

well thats what this as no really a sketch of a character just some what clean yet rough sketch of them in poses an facial experssions, so thus is concept sketch also *gives hugs*

Well it is based off a character from treasure planet so it's supposed to be pirate-y! >:I (Besides, it's not homo unless it's in the right horn~ )

It's based off of the design and thought process behind Jim from Treasure planet. This was a study to see if I could apply Jim's essence to something other than Jim. :)

but from the original human design and a Google search, it does look like an interesting movie :)

Mmm, sounds like a good watch . The style of the animation reminds me of Atlantis the Lost Empire, which I liked.

The only Disney film I hate is Home on the Range (for obvious reasons )
