I got a small taste of just how far I would go to survive, a few years ago. Sobering. And I'd go even further to protect the lives of my loved ones. If you threaten their lives, it doesn't matter if you have a uniform to go with your ski mask. The only law covering such a situation is rule 303.

if someone threatens you or the life of someone close to you and you are at the same moment close to them (like someone points a gun at your boy or girlfriend or at one of your family members or just a stranger) and the only form to help them is to kill the guy who threatens the other, then it IS allright to kill the guy with the gun. At least in my country. War is nothing but a battle of selfdefence. The problem there is to find out who was the one who threatened and who the one who protected himself and wasn't there a different way to solve it, without killing.
