This is an entry for 
costumeconnectionsfa March/April Contest: Pokemon month- Gotta wear em all.
They recommended using pokemon that are well underused and while there were many aside from the usual suspects my attention was turned on to Golem for some reason, so I decided to make a Roxanne from the Hoenn League suit up into one.
i tried really hard to go into the anime style and I'm pretty pleased with thie way this lengthy sequence came together once it was scanned and colored.
